COVID-19 Safety Measures

Message to Our Guest

Here at Hangingwiththelocals.com we pride ourselves on keeping our guests first in all that we do. The USVI has reopened to allow leisure travelers to visit our shores. Travelers five (5) years of age or older traveling by air or sea, including those in transit, must use usvitravelportal.com to receive certification prior to travel into the US Virgin Islands. Those who do not comply with the requirement and who do not receive clearance from the online portal will be unable to board an aircraft to the Territory.

We are excited to have guests back on island to experience our local tours and local experiences. As such, we wanted to take a moment to share the latest information on how we are managing through the latest COVID-19 challenges and how you can still enjoy our tours during this time.

Our safety measures are put into place to keep you, our employees and our tour partners safe.

  • We have limited the number of guests allowed 10 people per tour

  • All guests and employees are required to wear masks  during the tour

  • Each guest will now be offered hand sanitizer prior to beginning of each tour and will have frequent restroom access to wash their hands.

  • All employees are washing and sanitizing their hands throughout each tour.

  • We are sanitizing “high-touch” surfaces often  during tours

  • Our team is staying informed and educated on the developments and following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and USVI for prevention, sanitation and hygiene.

We’ve included this helpful infographic courtesy of USVI Department of Tourism to know what to expect when you visit. Remember a facial mask must be worn in all establishments in order to receive service. Be sure to follow the guidelines provided by our government officials in order to safely explore and enjoy your time on St. Croix.
